Camilla, Small plant purchased at Coldspring Feed from Vickie in 2020. Planted later. Even though it is small, the plant lived thru the cold and bloomed without any problem.

Bottle Brush Purchased two from Warrens in Kingwood in 2016. This one grew bigger than the other. Then in awful freeze of 2021 both totally froze back. The small one didn't come back but this one did. Still growing good, but the dry extreme heat of summer 2022 has slowed growth.
Althea

Althea or Rose of Sharon. Around 2018 friend Kathy and I were driving around the Coldspring area and happened on Mr. Miller Thompson working in his yard, trimming his Althea's. We visited a bit and ask if we could have some of the trimmings. He graciously gave us all we wanted. This is my one surviving limb and it is a beautiful, double blossom, lavender Althea. So proud of it. Mother had these but she called them Althees.
Lantana

Lantana, Confetti An amazing bush, now available in various colors. A perennial, dies back in winter but comes out again in spring. These plants were growing on my place when purchased and have spread in great numbers. One area had Narcissus bulbs with Lantana planted amongst them. A great way to always have color. The Lantana dies back and the bulbs come out, then the bulbs die back and the Lantana comes out. Great planning on someones part! This Confetti version is one of the originals that I remember from childhood.
